“SAFE & SECURE” (Collabo With Michelle A Lee)

Safe and secure
Is having your arms encircle me
Having your smell mingle with mine
Knowing that whatever happens
Together we’ll find a resolution
That it won’t be the end of us
It’s about open communication
It’s about keeping the vocab moving forward
I don’t want to have gone to bed arguing
Only to have breathed my last breath in anger.

Safe and secure
Is being at peace with me
Is being at peace with you
Knowing that together
Is where we were truly meant to be.

We both have baggage
A history of habits
We packaged as fragile
And naturally...
Nothing is immaculate---
So...
It's mighty spectacular
We've lasted this long!

I'm stronger from the lessons
There's blessings in storms!
Harmful things have been spoken
We've broken many rules
----fools in the game----
But, strangely enough?
The pain is familiar

Damn...

That's real love.
