McCain lost nothing in this financial meltdown. That's because he owns nothing...that's why he couldn't answer the question on how many houses he owns. So let's see how this mess affected their households.
Cindy McCain holds all the purse strings; according to campaign financial disclosures she has lost $1.2 million, but she also sold $1.5 million at the start of the campaign..did she get a tip somewhere? How is it she dumped $50,000.00 in Fannie Mae stock and an additional $15,000.00 shares of Freddie Mac?
Obama lost $100,000.00. MIchelle and Barack Obama had the bulk of their money between $2 million and $ 6 million --in very stable money market accounts and Treasury notes. How about that for leadership in Economics? His one and only mutual fund..the Vanguard FTSE Social Index did plummet. At the start of the year the fund was worth $100-$250,000.00. It has now dropped $40,000.00 to $100,00.00 in value.
What I have always like about him is that he wants the same for us that he would want for his family. Well family..tomorrow I will be at a Prayer Breakfast in Philly. An invitation from another Deputy Field Organizer...from this site. ..I have to get up at the inhuman hour of 4:00 a.m!!
we all should be taking ownership of how we create income for our families. we all rely too much on one 9-5 job to support us financially. i'm working part-time with a home-based business and there is no limit to the income that i want to create. let's all slow down and see where we'll be financially in five years if we don't change something for ourselves!
