Can you imagine being married to your husband and not kissed for 5 years, other than a peck on the cheek (1274 hits)

What the hay does this mean? Someone told me this today. Okay, you are married, for 5 plus years. You have s*x, as stated, maybe once every 6+ months. He says I love you only when ending a telephone call. He does not even look into her eyes and hardly remembers what she was wearing when she left the house. Yet, he is a good provider, does not hang out with the boys, or anyone, cleans the house, cares for the children, cooks, pays the bills, but not passionate, romantic, nor lovable. She asked me what should she do. For one, I never tell anyone what to do about their marriage, or relationships. I hesitated to comment on this one. She asked me if I thought he might be gay. I thougth to myself, if he is, I am wondering when he meets his lover, because from what she has told me, he never goes anywhere, nor has visitors. It was just too deep for me. He sounds like a walking zoombie, just my personal thought.

What are your thoughts.
Just me, plain, simple and to the point~V

1st thought that came to my mind is-how are the children? Is there a possibility he has pedophile issues? She needs to be mother enough to check on her babies.

2nd thought was why has it taken 5 years for her to reach out for help in this matter. Has she even approached HIM with these concerns? If he loves her as she says he does, he should be open to conversation. I would think "The sisterhood" should be her last resort after talking to him and her pastor and her immediate family.

3rd (last but certainly not least) consideration is : has she made some moves? In my house we use to say " the same thing it took, to get your baby hooked, is the same thing it's gonna take to keep him". Has the sister been proactive? Has she tried to woo her Mr.?

I'll keep her in prayer. I'd love to her the followup to this one.

There are always two sides to every story. There could be other underlying problems which the lady doesn't want to tell you about.
