You have dark skin, but you are attractive. Now what did that mean??? (1023 hits)
Someone said to me today, you know, you are dark skin, but you are attractive. I just froze in my tracks. What on earth?? It is like saying, hey, you are dark and attractive, but not many of you are. Any why did I have to be just attractive, why could I not be pretty, or beautiful, or just plain good looking. Dark skin but attractive, Wow. That was deep. I once had someone say, "you have that animal magnitism." Again, why could it be that I am you know, maybe pretty, goodlooking, or even beautiful. I am not saying I am all that. Wait, maybe I am saying that. I do know that I feel good about who I am, how I look and how big my heart truly is. I feel that I am a beautiful person inside and out, at least I try to be. I am bringing this up for discussion. I want to know what the problem is. I think I have an idea, however, based on experience and lessons I have gotten from some of my other blogs, my idea might not be on target. Just me - plain,simple and to the point
I concur and besides that "Black is beautiful". Not that it matters to you Vanest, but many official cars for heads of state are black. lol

Unfortunatly even the african american race has become victim to seeing Colors instead seeing Us for who we are inside and out. I am a witness to this fact. For a long time I only chose to date light complexion men...Yes..and then one day a wise elder said to me that I would continue to get the same results out of a relationship if i continued to choose by Color and not the Heart. I have learned from this blindness and now I see people for who they are!
