Someone informed me that God/dess is related to witchcraft - some kind of ritual??? (1143 hits)
I am not saying this is a fact. I was informed through a third party. I am directing this question to all of you in an effort to get full clarification. I thank the Doc and Michelle for their feedback, however, I just want to see if all others are on the same track, or to see if anyone really does think of God/dess as witchcraft. Again, this is not meant to be taken negatively, it is an educational lesson for me personally and maybe for those who wanted to ask, but did not for many reasons.

COnsider all religions originate from the same source, and what people don't understand they cast in a lake of negative explaination. Wicca or witchcraft, Vodoo and other Traditional African Religions all have been thrown into the grinder and come out being associated with negativity. Just step back and consider that Christain views may not be the only RIGHT view on Earth

If by witchcraft, you mean the Celtic and Wiccan religions; then yes, the Goddess is their supreme being. If you mean Biblical witchcraft, then no. The Bible equates witchcraft to rebellion.

Thanks Vanest ! For opening this diaglog it makes for Open MINDS that will equate into productive and invaluable discussions for inquiring minds to become even more enlightened as to who they really are. I really couldn't say it any clearer here, now, than my very intellectual associates who contributed in the previous comments. But if any one has a LITTLE sence of wanting to Know, take the his-story of things the becoming enlightened will be inevitable. I understand that, and it's obvious that the collective will have a hard time grasping the relation to this attribute on the subject, but it was already to be expected and we are more than ready to educate. Because many people are already aware of the difference of spirituaity and religion and furthermore,realize that having a belief system --- a set of thoughts that you regard as the absolute truth---- does not make you spiritual no matter what the nature of those beliefs is. The fact is the more you make your thoughts (beliefs) into your identity, the more cut off you'll become from the spiritual dimension within yourself. People don't realize the limitation of thought. GOD/DESS does exist,and our platform is simply a vehicle to bring into the reality of the existence of BEING , GOD/DESS (FEMALE/MALE DIVINITY). We are readressing the balance between male and female that was lost a long time ago. Fact--- what does remain true is the energy frequency of the mind appears to be essentially male.( the mind resists, fights for control, uses, manipulates,attacks, tries to grasp and possess, and so on). This is why the traditional God is a patriarchal, controlling authority figure,an often angry man, who you should live in fear of , as the Old Testament suggests. This GOD is a PROJECTION of the human mind.So, to go beyond the mind and connect with BEING (SUPREME),very different qualities are needed: Non-judgement,surrender,an openness that allows life to be, instead of resisting it, and the capacity to hold all things in the loving embrace of your knowing. All these qualities are more closely related to the female principal. Yet, the mind energy is hard, BEING energy is soft and yielding and yet infinitely more powerful than mind. We GOD/DESSES, are the vehicles and signposts to the PRESENCE of BEING. While at this time, a vast majority of men and women are still in the grip of the MIND:identified with the thinker and the pain- body, so .... of course, this is what prevents enlightenment and the flowering of love that is much needed in the world today. Those who have EARS let them HEAR... Those who have EYES let them SEE.... Jesus said that time and time again in the "New Testament" and COULD he by chance be talking to ENLIGHTENED INDIVIDUALS? THe Disciples would oft times ask way he spoke in parables.... They knew the real meaning on what Jesus was saying, but the Masses unless ENLIGHTEN to the TRUE NATURAL OF YAHWEH would only hear the words he spoke...
The seach for Knowledge and earthly ENLIGHTENMENT is possible Jesus said it, Buddha said it... Muhammaed said it..... So why are so many set to believe what an emperor had written, and a drunked pedophile had translated?
If this is offensive.... I feel sorry for you.... but truth is... ONE GOD/DESS MANY WAYS TO REACH HIM/HER..... If you come out of the His-story of the KJV and read you will see that we can not truly comprehend YAHWEH so to limit the I Am race to what we understand goes against the power which created all things male or female...

I wonder why you consider what I have to say a perversion of the Gospel? Is it not even remotely possible that the Gospel was perverted as far back as Nicene, and for political not spiritual purposes?
I think it is narrow and dangerous to label something heresy based on opinion. And like Milika, while your references are lengthy, they are generally unrelated to the topic at hand. Therefore it would be safe to assume your speaking in defensive of traditionalist teaching without a precept to stand on.

Again, knowledge is priceless, however, your message was heard the first time.(no offense ) ! Is there anything, something new that we are not familiar with ???? Whew..I have to step back on this one..these sisters are PHD.level in scripture..and I am in elemenatry school..can I just say on my behalf sheepshishly..(I do know about the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. but that is secularly, as an anthropologist) that is about all I really comprehended..carry on.. this is new to me and you know that I have asked for instruction..can I just share this humbly as a pedagogue? try to remember you are well versed in your subject and we are neophytes..and some us thought we may know scripture are minds have been locked...and fear prevents the door from opening..I of course am a free spirit I am open to anything and I do have the comfort that the Holy Ghost will protect me and lead me correctly, should anyone attempt to lead me into darkness..I am a believer in HIS protection..I am a child of God..so carry on I am learning..more please..thanks..and I do know that in the last days, many will come pretending..but I am strong and I know that King James burned all the books before his version..let's explore further.

Thats exactly what we are saying here Marta, For one, I too am filled with the Holy Ghost Spirit, but far beyond what today's mind can even begin to comprehend. I am , and continue my constant wanting to remain in the Sprit of PRESENCE,( which is the Most HIGHEST of BEING). But, man /woman does not live by bread alone....But by EVERY WORD OF THE SPIRIT, thats how you will Know. Whether, hands in or not ( they did have hands in ), You will know the real message (truth for once ) , FROM the Spirit within , that is ALL LOVING and TRUE. That Spirit is telling me to relay these things. And, once one seeks it out for themselves will discover for themselves that the KINGDOM has always been within. And that, MY BELOVED SiSTER, the SPIRIT would not have me tell you OTHERWISE. ONE thing, it's not going to mislead you, only enlighten. Whew is dogone skippy !!!!! LOL , and IT"S ALL GOOD!!!!

Martha mentioned she is an Anthropologist and her skills at 'reading historical markers' may prove the science behind the God/Dess message. Once people realize that the Bible was "edited" for personal gain and those OLDER more accruate books of the bible manifest... all will become clear. The Creator gave all of us talents, and none of those talents shall simply be thrown aside to be in line with a particular church.

If only we would speak of the “Good News” as Yeshua taught. “The Gospel”, as taught by Yeshua, IS “The Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven”, oh my bad it was being discussed; “as above, so below” or if you prefer “on Earth as it is in Heaven”. Why would YHVH who created all “things” and then tell them to go out and reproduce after its own kind, not expect “Man/Woman” to do the same? After all didn’t it say in the BIBLE, Genesis 1:26-28; 26 And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his OWN image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them,… (italics’ and bolding mine) YHVH didn’t.
Can man reproduce in the flesh without woman? The answer is no. So what would make you believe that man, without woman, can reproduce in the spirit without her? Why would you believe that we can take dominion over the created thing without our spirits being one with one another and with YHVH? It can’t even Yeshua said that he could do nothing without being in agreement with the Father. Must I take you into a word study with “agreement” for you can’t be in agreement with anyone without being “One” with what’s being done/created. Yes, I know you will come back and tell me that when YHVH said, “let US make man in OUR image” the bible was referring to the triune God-head of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that there was no God/dess involved in that creation process. But its hard for me to fathom “On Earth as it is in Heaven” in the birthing process if YHVH did not take YHVH/dess out of Himself as he took Eve out of Adam.
I have to go back to work so more will come….just something for you to thing about in the mean time….

Yes, thats right! Goddeses Blessing Goddeses is just a GROUP, not a religion. But like politics, religion is the worse subject to have with individuals because of the differences and ramifications. However, I have not once, tried to throw my beliefs on anyone and never will. my only objection was to empower and enlighten,to help those REMEMBER and regain consciousness, suddenly there's suggestions of witchcraft and damnation. Not far in the past ,I see why there were people burned if they thought like myself. I must admit ,that it's very interesting, and apparently to others, from what I can tell ,which is a VERY GOOD thing , because it's forcing people to think. Whether they understand or not. We need to be THINKING, especially NOW.
