Guess who has a new single! Kid! You know, from Kid n' Play. Christoper Reid has a new, grown man single and video out called "Why Don't You Stay?" He is now 44, high-top free, and has lyrics that may surprise you. I LOVE IT! Not just the song, but the whole shabang! The fact that he has come back to his passion and he doesn't just sound like an old rapper trying to get his groove back. The video is ok. It looks like he went in his closet and said to himself "yeah I'll just wear this", but it's all good. LOL. He has earned the right, don't you think ? The only thing that was missing from the video was.....you know..... yep, Play. I would have absolutely loved it if he was there . But I guess I will have to settle for the Kid n' Play t-shirt he proudly wears. When you hear it, you will either love it or hate it, but I think you will be surprised.
Play(Christopher Martin) is saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost now. He is teaching a Hip Hop class in N.C. and guest speaking at different events. He was involved in a terrible car accident in December of '07 but is doing well now. And ladies, he is still s*xy as ever (sorry Lord). Oh yeah, and to Mos Def, if you're reading this... I love you.
