Never Considered Agenda - GBG Discussion (351 hits)
Sister Minister posed the question last week, “If you were elected Goddess of the world, what would your agenda be?” I balked at “Elected”. I balked; “Were talking about birthright.” My word choked me; I realized I had never considered “agenda.”
My vision is written on the first page of my journals, at the top of my To-Do list. Vision boards adorn my walls. I know productivity from busy work – most of the time. I’m growing in disciple and courage. My self-esteem is rooted in God being true and every man, including me, a liar. Had a good grasp of Kingdom, understood ambassador/emissary, but no thought of agenda. I preach king and priest, joint heir with Christ, but agenda?
Hmmmm. I can get ethereal and holy; tell you about commitment to walking out Kingdom. “In this world not of it” will preach all night long. I’ve been thinking ‘bout this for days plenty time to create an entertaining memo. My ears itched; my fingers ached to type something, anything that would color me wise and profound. I’ve got no agenda.
Does that negate birthright, king, priest, and joint-heir? Not. It intensifies calls to/for a greater level of responsibility. Goddess is the first creation act of God; her image, woman is God’s final act before Sabbath rest. I am, we are receiver, incubator and manifester of Creation force. Perhaps we are the agenda. The light we shine in our relationships, endeavors and circumstances is a spark of Divinity, as we grow, as we shine, as we love, we light the world.
I so enjoy reading clarity in thought!!ah. I will ponder these words, and I would guess you are going forward and writing a book? to be translated into 50 languages? I see that in your future..this information must be shared. You are growing into your birthright and the first clue? you challenged the thought process to break free..My spiritual journey began one day, when a sister said to me your spiritual box is empty, that was 1985. I got busy!! we are one --in a million pieces of growing-ness! This thought process and learning curve can help us to form a cohesive base as Goddesses! (p.s.) I got in trouble at my job in Vegas' for putting up a proverb referring to the Goddess within in 1997! Some women are just not ready to accept this inheritance! I also need to talk with you regarding the ultimate powerhouse organization. In private.
