I'VE LEARNED THAT EVERYBODY THAT CLAIMS TO BE A FRIEND , IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. IN MY OPINION FRIENDSHIP IS NOT FOR A REASON OR A SEASON, ITS A LIFETIME BOND. A FRIEND IS SOMEONE THAT YOU CAN TALK TO ABOUT ANY & EVERYTHING. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE BY YOUR SIDE THROUGH THICK & THIN. FRIENDSHIP COMES IN ALL COLORS,SHAPE,SIZE.
AS FOR LIFE, I'VE LEARNED THE HARD WAY. MY MOM PASSED ON AND LEFT ME AT A YOUNG OF 16. AT THAT AGE YOU NEED YOUR MOTHER THE MOST. I SLIPPED THROUGH THE CRACKS AND FELL ON MY BUTT A LOT OF TIMES. I WENT THROUGH A LOT OF EMOTIONAL STRESS. I GOT MARRIED AND STARTED A FAMILY AT AN EARLY AGE.
I TAKE MY MISTAKES AND REVIEW THEM CAREFULLY, BECAUSE I WILL NOT LET MY CHILDREN WALK IN MY SHOES. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT I LIVE TO SEE MY KIDS BECOME GROWN AND HAVE A FAMILY. I WILL TEACH MY KIDS THINGS THAT I WASN'T TAUGHT, SO THEY DONT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE WORLD OF MADNESS. I KNOW I CANT PROTECT THEN ALWAYS, BUT I WILL TRY AND GUIDE THEM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AS POSSIBLE.
I WISH I CAN SPEAK TO GIRLS IN HOMES TO LET THEM KNOW THAT, THEY'RE NOT THE ONLY ONES THAT HIT ROCK BOTTOM AND THAT I'M JUST LIKE THEM IN SOME CASES. BUT I WILL ALSO LET THEM KNOW TO GET UP AND BRUSH THE DIRT OFF, KEEP THEIR HEAD UP HIGH AND KEEP SMILING. THERE'S A BETTER LIFE FOR EVERYONE, IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.
Thank you for sharing Cassandra. God will allow you to encourage some girls who are going thru similar things. Even tho my circumstances were different, I am blessed to encourage other young ladies. Not in a formal setting or anything, but one on one. To me that's more effective. There is a young lady who isn't in a great environment that kinda just gravitated to me. At first I was like, 'man I'm tired of this girl'. But then I realized that I was meant to be in her life to give her positive guidance. Then I almost cried when she asked me to be her "Godmama". So when young ladies come to you, embrace them and encourage them, which I know you will. God bless you abundantly!

Thank you for the comment. I always wanted the opportunity to talk to girls and help them find their inner beauty and to let them know that someone cares. I always said when i become wealthy, that i was going to build a safe haven home for all runaways and and abused girls. People overlook what this country needs.
