Sisterhood, Black Women Connect - What the hay does it mean anyway, and what is its purpose??? (421 hits)
I had a buddy on this site that was scared away. Why, because she was a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton. She received threatening messages, from a so-called sister, or two on this site. I am very disappointed, whether you care or not! I am a person who says what is on my mind. If it is bothering me, believe me, I will write about it, like it or not. I thought this site was about sharing, networking, empowering and sisterhood. I was proud to be a part of it. It gives me an opportunity to put into words what I strongly believe in, at the same time, allowing many people like myself who has a common interest to communicate. I thought of it as a tool to share, vent, grow and have fun with others. One sister went totally psycho on the other sister. What the hay??? I did not think that it was that serious. We all are entitled to our own opinion. Please do not come at me wrong because I am not afraid of you. This one sister did not have the backbone that I have inherited. No one will chase me away from anything I enjoy and believe in. This should be a positive forum for people to chat and share resourceful information. I feel the sister who attacked the other was totally wrong. She even threatened the other by saying she had her IP address and could find her. Again, what the hay! God help you. If this site resorts to allowing such negaitivity, I am going to start a campaign against it. Again, I am not afraid of you!!!
I am very disappointed that someone acted this way toward your friend, and that it hurt her so much she had to leave. I can't understand how so-called Barack supporters would threaten another person just because she is a Hillary supporter. That is not what Obama's message is about and its hypocritical in a way to support a man who believes in change and the upliftment of our people but at the same time tear down your sister.
If she wanted to be a MCAIN supporter that is her business. The people who victimized your friend are thoughtless extremist and not a good reflection of Obama supporters or sisters on this sight. I hope she is encouraged to join again.

And may I also add that the constant tearing down and division among us, be it Clinton supporters vs Obama, "ghetto" vs "suburban" light skinned vs dark or whatever will do nothing to better our condition, no matter who wins this election.
