For a moment I am jumping off my political postulations. I love her hair!!!!!!!!
The classic coif..how many times (oh here I go again) have I lamented the coifed challenged sisters?
Her hair, not because she bought it..but this is the classic beauty of the 1950's in terms of styling and arranging her own locks. The 1940', 50's and 60's was a time when Black women, despite the challenges of "growing" hair used beautiful short do's and styled their hair in classic styles.
I have been observing that,since the advent of the profilic use of extensions, lace wigs, and other hair apparel. Falls have been around forever, and so have the short wigs, the rasta dreds began with real hair in the dredlocks, and turned into a business.
Since the beginning of time we women have done all sorts of things to our hair, to please ourselves, based on a perception or to please a suitor.
The naturally blow-dried shiny bob that Michelle wore, speaks so much about her. Soon lots of women will be wearing the "Michelle."
Such a beautiful woman. Tall and majestic. Smart and loving, I certainly would want her as a friend!!
