You’ll never guess who’s about to release their debut album. He’s a father, an accomplished actor, and now a recording artist. I’m referring to Terrence Howard! The album is called Shine Through It and I just check out his first video, “Sanctuary”. I’m not sold on the whole singing thing just yet. But the video takes place on a stage with an orchestra playing behind Mr. Howard who is confidently sitting on a stool. His fingers gliding across his guitar while three beautiful ladies lend him a helping had with the vocals. Half way through the performance he takes the baton from the conductor and leads the orchestra himself. Would you expect anything less from Terrence? His voice is raspier than you would probably expect but it glides through the song rather nicely. He’s still smooth, confident, and s*xy just as he is on the big screen, and now he wants you to see a different side. The side that has a passion for music…good music.
