Look How Far We Have Come

There have been no Negro Presidents
appointed for the United States.

Funding for education is still handed
out by the color of your skin.

The only way two Negro stars won best
actor/actress is for portraying roles that
depicted them just as the Caucasian race
sees us.

The month they gave us for Black History
month is the shorted month of the year.

The street’s, avenue’s, and boulevard’s that
have been dedicated in remembrance of
our former Negro leaders are only in the
Hood.

Yes, my people look how far we have come.
