Discover the Entrepreneur In You - What’s in Thine Hand? – Exodus 4:2 (454 hits)
God asked Moses “What is that in thine hand?" (Exodus 4:2), and I’d like to ask you the same question: What is in thine hand? Let me explain... you see many of you will respond just as Moses did and say “a rod” without fully understanding what God has given you. God gave each and every one of us a “unique” talent. Your talent may be to cook, or sew, or to help others. Whatever your “unique” talent is, God the creator gave it to you so that you would be able to succeed in life. Perhaps that “unique” talent is a gift that’s waiting to be developed which will ultimately fill a need! This makes you an Entrepreneur waiting to happen!
Your days of low-living, lack and poverty are OVER. Why? Because “for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18). The power to live above and not beneath is in your hands! Society tells us that it’s impossible to make your dreams a reality if you don’t do it the traditional way. We’ve been told that if we go to college and get a degree we’ll get a great job and make good money. Unfortunately, that’s not 100% true. Although I agree that education is very important, some of us have had to deal with issues or events that have made it impossible to further our education, and there are some who have taken that next step, but still struggle to obtain that "great job and good money" -- but that doesn’t mean that we have to abandon our dreams...
Most of us have had things happen in our past that have stopped us from reaching our destiny. For some it may be lack of education, having children at a young age, being the sole bread winner, or it simply may be that you’re afraid to take that leap of faith. The reason I know is because I used to be that woman, but I woke up! I finally realized who I was and WHO’S I was, and once I did the lack of confidence, poverty, low self-esteem, low self-worth and being afraid went out the window and it can for you too.
No matter what has happened in the past, Jesus can mend every open wound and make you whole. One cannot be prosperous in one area of life yet lack in another. 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” That means in every area of your life! Success is just a mind-change away! Once the mind changes healing can began. Are you ready to let the healing take place?
"But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal. . . ." (Philippians 3:13-14)
