Come "Walk" with US IN THE ANNUAL BUD BILLIKEN PARADE on Saturday, August 9, 2008 to promote this Day!! We also INVITE YOU to our ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC in Washington Park on August 9th! WE REQUEST THAT YOU "Walk" with us wearing a T-Shirt which says..."August 26 Is Liberty Day!" You MUST PURCHASE YOUR OWN T-Shirt....RED T-Shirt with WHITE print! A RESOLUTION WAS PASSED ON SUNDAY, JULY 30,2006 at ll:30 am. in the name of our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! OUR RESOLUTION WAS SENT TO THE UNITED NATIONS IN 2006 in re: "2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now, The Lord is the Spirit, and Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty." We are marching on the following:
(Peace, Prosperity, Reparations For African Americans (God bless C.U.R.E. the Caucasians United for Reparations and Emancipation), Against Diseases, Unjust LAWS AND ROE V. WADE, "Stop the Violence" in Englewood, Chicago, America and the 'WORLD." Please RSVP Ms. Standberry at 773-606-9264 so we will know how many will be walking with us and info on lineup time.
Please Note on August 26 we are asking that you stop at 9:00 a.m. FOR 2-5 minutes and pray for these issues and the Iraqi people and our troups in Iraq! OUR TROOPS MUST COME OUT OF IRAQ NOW!

I've watched this parade every year from Atlanta since I was a little girl. Once I got to see it up close during vacation with my father to Chicago. It brings back a lot of memories.

Thank you Timeka for your comment. If you are able to march be at 39th street (Oakwood Boulevard) between Vincennes and Cottage Grove at 11:00! The International Prolife Federation is #202 in the parade lineup. I was told this is a good number because the participants go up to over 400!! This year for the first time the Bud Billiken Parade will be aired in Austraila...so it's going to be a big one! Some of us will be wearing Red T-Shirts with White Print saying "August 26 Is Liberty Day" with a logo of the liberty lady carryng a microphone for free speech saying Democracy Now!
