Why do people think that when they move to certain areas that their children are protected from the evils of the world. Evil pops up anywhere and every where. I suggest you stay prayed up. In the past when I was raising my girls as a single parent I use to get comments like, how did you do it. You seemed to have raised your girls right. For one, I am the last to say I have raised, or am raising perfect children. My response would always be and will be to this day, " I am not one to ever talk about anyone elses' children, nor judge them, or point out their faults, for my children are not perfect, however, all I can do is stay on my knees and pray to my God that he watches over my children, lead and guide them in the direction He will have them go." Everyone makes mistakes, however, I truly believe you are only given a certain number of chances. No, I am not saying I believe God will give up on you. I just feel you are given a certain number of chances before you give up on yourself. Again, no child is perfect, no place is perfect, no human is perfect, only God is perfect in my book. I live in a very nice community. I am now raising three little guys. Just because I live in a nice house in a guarded community does not mean we will not face challenges. Prayer is powerful. I will continue to stay on my knees.
Amen. Thanks for the reminder. I just keep looking at her and going..."A girl?" lol. I believe raising boys is easier. But I know either way I have to pray. I have to admit, the one thing I have not done yet is break out the oil. My father was a praying man, I would do well to follow in his footsteps.
