HBCU Alumni Invited To Participate In The Central Illinois HBCU College Fair - Nov 6. (549 hits)


The Jelani Day Foundation is privileged to announce the Central Illinois HBCU Fair, Scheduled for Thursday, November 6, 2025. This event aims to convene students, families, and community members to explore the profound history, culture, and academic prowess of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Today, HBCUs continue to play a vital role in shaping leaders, preserving culture, and expanding opportunities for students of all backgrounds.

This fair presents an invaluable opportunity for students throughout Central Illinois to investigate educational pathways offered by HBCUs, engage directly with alumni and representatives, and access essential resources that will equip them for success beyond secondary education. The Central Illinois HBCU Fair transcends mere academic engagement; it represents a celebration of heritage, community, and opportunity. aligned with the mission of The Jelnai Day Foundation, the fair endeavors to empower youth, amplify frequently margialized voices, and furnish the next generation of leaders with the tools necessary for their advancement.

Established in 2014 by Dr. Katasha S. Butler, the Central Illinois HBCU Fair has witnessed remarkable growth over the past decade. Dr. Butler's vision lad the foundation for this initiative, and we are honored to continue her legacy. With robust support from educational administrators and community leaders, the fair persists in enhancing access to higher education and inspiring future scholars and leaders.

We kindly ask for your support in spreading the word. Please share this information across your networks and social media platforms.
