What is Ending the Silence?
NAMI Ending the Silence is a presentation designed for middle and high school students, school staff, and parents or guardians of middle or high school-aged youth.
Who can be trained as a presenter?
These presentations include two leaders: one who shares an informative presentation and a young adult with a mental health condition who shares their journey of recovery.
To become a NAMI program leader:
You must be someone who is dedicated to helping reduce stigma and providing support and education.
You must be a NAMI member
You must be active in your local NAMI
During the application process, you will be asked to provide the email of a Board leader at your local NAMI who can endorse you
