Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.... (8058 hits)

Today we honor a man who stood for unity
and righteousness.
He was brave and not scared to stand for
his beliefs.

He reminds me to treat all people equal.
He saw people not for the shade of their
skin but for the character within.

It is so tough having to share your Dad
or Husband with the world. I am compassionate
for his family and all the moments they
wanted his attention but could not have
it due to his work duties.

I never heard him cuss to get his point
across. He didn’t sag his pants. He didn’t
refer to Women as derogatory subjects.

Thank you to Coretta Scott King for having
his back.

May we love each other back to health and
work to unite people instead of divide.

Happy King Day!
