It is estimated that human trafficking generates many billions of dollars of profit per year, second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable form of crime. It is a $290+ million illegal industry in Georgia alone!
In our ongoing initiative to combat this evil, Justice & Peace Ministries in partnership with the International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) is hosting two presenter training workshops. This training will arm you with the knowledge and skills to Know the Signs of human trafficking and to present this important and life-saving information to your parish and/or other community organizations.
The same training will be offered twice. First, on Sunday, October 21, and again on Thursday, October 25. Use the buttons at the right to register for one of these dates.
