Atlanta Catechist Conference Event Tips:
We are expecting a big crowd on Saturday and are so grateful for your presence. Here are a few details to help you:
Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m. Enter the hotel lobby and either walk through the lobby to the escalator/staircase or take the elevator directly across from the front door to the second level.
Already Registered? Simply check in at the tables at the top of the stairs to receive your name badge and workshop tickets.
Not Registered? Come to the Conference Office in front of Habersham Ballroom and we will take care of you.
We are unable to accommodate children, so please, only nursing infants can be welcomed.
Location and Arrival: The conference is at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Convention Center 2450 Galleria Parkway SE, Atlanta 30339
Parking: There is free parking in the hotel lot and in a nearby overflow lot. Attendants and signage will be there to direct you to the free parking. Carpool if you can so that we can maximize the use of the free parking. The Cobb Galleria parking could be very expensive because of the Braves game that day so avoid that lot unless you are willing to pay the going rate ($10-$25).
A bus is coming from St. Philip Benizi. If you're from the south side of town and would prefer not to drive, please contact Lorraine Miller at lmiller@stphilipbenizi.org.
Busses may drop off at the hotel and wait for pick-up at the Chancery lot. Please contact cmarbury@archatl.com if you need further bus instructions.
Our day begins with a Prayer Service at 8:45 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom led by Archbishop Wilton Gregory.
