They cried out one day
From beyond the grave
With whispers distant
That said-
"Restore us to our rightful place"
If not you- then who?
Who shall carry legacy on shoulders?
Who shall carry traditions passed over?
Who shall stride and bear the name?
For you must reach the promised land
For the past generations who couldn't complete
For you, my dear, must complete this thing
Who shall continue on?
Who shall carry on the torch for the unborn?
Who shall lead and pursue?
Who shall accomplish tasks that we couldn't do?
The legacy has been passed on to you
And you, dear, must do what you alone have been born to do
Create
Birth
Use your passed on gifts
And even the new ones given unto you
Walk next to destiny
Climb mountains and defeat obstacles
If not you-  then who?!
Who shall leave imprints that we couldn't do?
Death came ripe but the legacy now has been forthright and passed onto you
We fought hard for the position that we have handed to you
If not you- then who?!
Who shall bear the mark of our legacy?
Who shall strive on with endurance?
Who shall defeat generational obstacles?
Who shall march on just a little more wiser?
Who has been birthed to complete the assignment?
If not you, my dear-  then who?!
Your lineage cries out for you to walk and carry the torch
So pursue!
Now is not the time to be lost in the shuffle
If not you- then who?!
