Only this time the gold medal is won by swimmer Simone Manuel. The competition was in swimming, but the prize went a gold medalist winner to Simone Manuel on August 12, 2016. Simone Manuel won her gold medal in competing in the 100 meter free-style mad dash setting a new record of 52.70. Simone's swimming win set higher standards in the way Blacks are usually viewed in swimming competes. The long hard truth is the shadowing following clouds that Black swimmers not being able to make achievements in this part of the Olympic swimming competitions will now have to take a second look into the real light. With this great uplift of optimism and hard work, the rumor of such things as Blacks don't swim may be put under water. Simone Manuel took in her brave and refreshing moment with winning the Gold. She's is a Black Gold's winner indeed!
