Wednesday's sent rains in Beijing. . . .
Heavy downpours of rains caused a wet havoc as flights and closure of subway stations had to sit it out and wait. Weather conditions had rains swooping down with large quantities of drops. The Beijing government issued an orange alert which warned that more rain was on the way. An overnight warning forecast that at least 3.9 inches may pour in overnight. In the meantime, floating cars were seen on Beijing's street and heavy flooding had residents scrabbling to find higher ground. Since Monday, July 18, 2016 there have been as many as 13 people killed by rain related deaths and 62 people missing in north and northwest China. However, in the capital Beijing no deaths have been reported.
