Good Morning BWC ladies!!!, Hope you all had a great and fabulous four-day weekend and holiday! Can't believe it rained here in Norfolk yesterday (BLAH!) but I did get a hot dog, potato chips and beans so I guess you could say I did celebrate a little, teeny bit!
Okay, let's get down to it. This is going to be a very short workweek for the Diamond League (Whooo-Hooo) and I lately have really been getting into watching "Shark Tank" on CNBC. You guys, I highly recommend that if you don't watch "Shark Tank" you should try and see how these high-end deals are made with the sharks and up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're probably thinking: "Well I'm not starting a business like that or that's way out my league" That's where you're wrong. Imitation is the biggest form of flattery as the saying goes and it would be wise to invest at least one hour once or twice a week to watch how these deals are made, how these folks make their pitch and get their businesses off to a running start. You can run and fly high with the eagles or sit and lay eggs with the chickens. It's always YOUR choice in the end. But I've been sitting with the chickens too long in my book and I've grown tired of it. I choose to run and fly and I want YOU to as well!!!
Today's video lesson is by Barbara Corcoran. I absolutely love her, her story and what she stands for. She is truly an amazingly strong woman who literally wrote her own success story. Once a diner waitress who turned billion-dollar real estate mogul, her story is a real testament of what each and every single one of us can do if we have the will to do it. Please take a look at her website at http://www.barbaracorcoran.com/ and read her story.
WARNING: This video has a couple of strong language words in it so for those who may be offended by it, you may want to skip over this video lesson today. However, Ms. Corcoran is a very brash, no-nonsense businesswoman and I believe that the course words were being used to drive a strong point home and no disrespect was intended.
Please feel free to comment as they are always welcome!!:) See you ladies tomorrow!
