WORLD HUMANIST DAY
Today celebrates the coming together of humanists. Organizations and people celebrate free thinking, science and the ideals of rationalizing. The day was created in 1980 by the World Humanist Association. The main point of the day is to make the world a better place by increasing public knowledge of science to dispel age-old myths.
