LOOK AT THIS EMAIL, I DID NOT GET THE JOB!!! (1151 hits)
Good Morning BWC Ladies, You know, i usually don't do this and this is really going outside of the box for me to put myself out there like this but I am going to share an email with you guys that I saw in my inbox today. A little background: I applied for a position with ADP over a month ago and I did a phone interview with a gentleman last Friday. Mind you, I researched the company for weeks and I thought I did pretty good on the interview as saying the right thing and all. Well after all that, here is what I got in my inbox today:
Wow. So there you have it, I did not get the job. It bothers me but I am trying to figure out why. Why does this stuff bother me? I've applied to so many jobs over the last three years, YES even with Burger King! Still didn't get hired! Ladies, I'm just sick and tired of this. I am seriously through with running around and begging people to give me a job! Forget this! This just does not work for me and I'm now going to start investing in ME! No more job interviews, no more resumes or applications, pretty much no more chasing the carrot! I am a black woman, married with children. My husband is complaining about money and paying for everything by himself! I currently make less than $1K a month and believe it or not I am a veteran and MBA educated but what difference does that make! I did say a prayer to God and I told him if this was not the job he wanted me to have than please do not let me get it. Yes, I did say that prayer and I truly did mean it. I guess I should not be upset but I also prayed that if this did not work out, I wanted to go full-time with Digital Altitude.= and just work from home and online from here on out. So I received the confirmation today. It's time to stop playing games, ladies and do this by ourselves!!! If you have a comfortable job and position right now, that's wonderful and keep it up. But always make sure that you have something on the side to carry you if that main source of income happens to just end suddenly one day. Consider Digital Altitude as a supplement to your current income base.
Next week, I am planning on starting a group called "The Diamond League". I have sat down and wrote out my vision for this awesome and extraordinary group of women. I will give you all the details next Monday. It's too much to put in here today but I truly, truly hope that you will continue to check my blogs out daily and consistently to see what my next move will be...
