News ushered in as paraliment in Myanmar selected it's new president on March 15, 2016. Htin Kyaw was selected to reign the position in the outcome as many sought that Aung San Suu Kyi would win the selected may have been disappointed. Aung San Suu Kyi is recogonized as the Noble peace laureate though popular did not win the seat. Htin Kyaw was ushered in under the now former President Thein Sain. Htin Kyaw is the first president that is a civilian in overs decades. Htin Kyaw won with 360 of the 652 votes to claim the election win. Htin Kyaw is 69 years old and is considered a well favorite politician to continue the leadership of the former leader, Thein Sain. Kyaw is said to take office in April 2016.
