Bill Cosby has been arraigned on s*xual assault charges in relation to a 2004 allegation.
Cosby did not enter a plea, and bail was set at $1 million.
A preliminary hearing has been set for January 14. Cosby turned over his passport.
The 78-year-old comedian has been dogged by allegations of s*xual assault. More than 40 women have come forward to publicly accuse him of assaulting them over four decades, most saying he drugged them first.
