Intimidation is such a major force in society. It is not a new phenomenon, yet it is being used in arenas where it should not present itself. Intimidation has reared its head in our families, educational facilities, the workplace and sadly in our religious institutions.
Personalities are vast, cultures diverse and integrated values have caused a great dialogue and mass conversation as to what is acceptable and what is not. Fortunately, this has caused a conversation to provoke awareness of this broad spectrum. Unfortunately, the discussion has brought to the forefront emotions of superiority which causes one to display dominance over another.
Intimidation has reared its head in the manner one family rears their children. Intimidation has appeared in the workplace, the community and as I stated previously it brings me much sadness to acknowledge it is rampant in the Christian community. their innuendos, their opinions, or their tactics to cause dismay or discouragement. In the book of Jeremiah we are reminded that God is with us and will deliver us! Deliverance in this context says that God in all his power, God is his finite wisdom, and God in his total care for our lives will transport each of us to a place of peace, wisdom and security.
We must be ever mindful that opinions of others change frequently, while God’s favor and love is constant. As Lady Leaders we often find ourselves in arenas which may force us to sharpen our skills, refresh our outlook, and strengthen our talents. In actuality it’s a good thing, for we are therefore encouraged to operate in excellence and confidence.
My heart is for you to present yourself in the excellence of His spirit, and not be fearful nor intimated by the acts or actions of others. Your assignment as a Lady Leader is to…
