DANGERS OF A SILVER TONGUE (859 hits)

GREETINGS IN LOVE!

Language is the communication of every man in the earth.

FLATTERY

The history of language formed with God as every thing that is created from the beginning is from God.   During all  the ages of time men have developed different languages in which to communicate to each other.  Even in this new age today thousands of languages are spoken each day and  technology as men's resource allows inter-commuications to be developed to understand another's language.   But what about the dangers of the tongue?

Speech is imperative and what is said can be costly or deadly.  In the instances of flattery one will discover there are dangers according to the Word.  In brief,  some of the dangerous ways of flattery is to  mislead and to guide one with hearts of  malice.   Flattery can be a misconception if hearts are not true, and the dangers of the silver tongue can cause much mischief.  This is why it is always a guard to be careful of what is said in flattery especially if the purpose is not one that communicates in honesty and truth.  Flattery is dangerous in plans of many men and women today.  It's a seducer and a flattering mouth works are for a ruin.  You find that many who flatters, accumulates many friends who form with them because of their flattery.

Once one is aware of such flatteries that are not conditioned to lies, then one is cautioned to be careful of falling for silver words that can decieve.   Flattery can decieve but trusting in the righteousness of God's obedience one can be led from the wiles of wickedness.   It is always better to speak good, and even better to follow who is truly good with God.  His words teaches ways to recognize a language of flattery and keep you aware of the discernment of true sayings.  This post is to bring into the accessment of thought process that one is to  be watchful of false doctrines of men that have come into the world.

"Meddle not with him that

flatterteh with his lips."

--Proverbs 22: 16 KJV

This is an interesting subject Miisrael. I think it's a matter of motive, do you agree?

Thanks Steve, I don't claim to know everything, but the subject matter is worth a examination. I do agree it is a matter based on motives;...

"This is why it is always a guard to be careful of what is said in flattery especially if the purpose is not one that communicates in honesty and truth. "

I do feel some elements of flattery is necessary for good encouragement, my intention is to one's attention and alertness to be in awareness of what is being spoken is sincere
of one's motives. I appreciate your comments and feedback.
