Why would a same s-e-x couple want to be married in a church that despises them?

No. Churches have always had the right to refuse to marry anyone. My pastor refused to marry a heteros*xual couple that the groom-to-be wasn't listening during premarital counseling. He turned out to be an abuser before the marriage, and it was obviously called off.

Since same genders want to marry why would they want church weddings? Issues of church and state clashes as we well know. Now, that same genders can marry; they'll have to have alternatives of who will perform the ceremonies, perhaps same genders ministers and even now, there may be worship places that they'll create to perform weddings. I would not say they would be followers of Christ since the churches of Christ prohibits immoral acts of the body as well as those of the same t gender. I would not say it's a victory for them totally they may still be faced with much opposition regarding making their marriages a religious one, but the state may improvise to provide someone to do the ceremonies.
I thank yawl for the comments; Is it not a fact that the people from the GLBT community attend church or am I delusional? I asked my Pastor uncle if he would start officiating or allowing the church he pastors to be used as a venue for these ceremonies. He was adamant that he wasn't allowing or officiating a gay ceremony so I said, it's God's house not yours.
I personally that people should follow the Supreme Courts' ruling. Are we as Christians not called to obey all the laws so all churches should follow the law, too! (Especially since many have benefitted from 501-C status for years)
A pastor shouldn't refuse the use of a church for anyone. The church us God's house. Plus, gay, lesbians, bis*xual, and transgendered people should not be excluded anymore our singled out for their same gender preferences. We might not agree, but at the end of the day... They are citizens of the land same as us.
Church membership is a benefit same as reason being listed on the health coverages of their spouses... It's a benefit.
I'm just sayin'!

I wonder if legalized polygamy will be next.

...In Chief Justice John Roberts’ dissenting opinion, he remarks, “It is striking how much of the majority’s reasoning would apply with equal force to the claim of a fundamental right to plural marriage.” As is often the case with critics of polygamy, he neglects to mention why this is a fate to be feared."...
The reason this will never be legal is that no woman is going split up her spoils when divorced with another woman!
