SAY NOTHING (1433 hits)

Say nothing if love is only with words...

Say love if it is spoken from the

heart, and shown by your actions.

Do you think that well meaning people brand Christians sort of like having to be 'loving fools" and those that don't fit that mold are deemed as not being Christians and are only "so called" Christians? I hope I'm being clear.

Case in point, in John 3:16 which we all learned going to Sunday school "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son... (and act of love).

So in Luke 19 The Message (MSG) verses 45-46

'...Going into the Temple he began to throw out everyone who had set up shop, selling everything and anything. He said, “It’s written in Scripture,

My house is a house of prayer;
You have turned it into a religious bazaar.”...

Would you say that he was still showing love? So then if that be the case (Jesus was still showing Love) why do folk try to box Christians in to their on ideology of how we should show love?

I speak...

About--Well meaning people brand Christians of "loving fools"?

I find this is behavior is with those who truly don't understand love. Since love has many levels and many people "identity love" as taking your love's pity to their advantage-- they take it that if you love them; "you'll do anything; or-- allow them to do what they want with you." As long as they are supplied to holding "guilt" over you & marking.. If you love me, you'd do what I want...they think that love like this--they are allowed treat you any kind of way. They'll use you deceitfully, and manipulate you to love in their favor when they know it's really wrong of them....

They sometimes have the desire to rule your pure love only to have their own egos soar. However, it is "not foolish" let them not mis-understand, you are not part of a love that caters to what is ungodly, or unrighteous. If they had that kind of love, they would then understand that the love of God is not a self-righteous love generated by presenting guilt, or misrepresentation to be abused...Any kindness of love shown to them that is generated by evil; does not please God, but heaps coals is being poured over themselves. God's love in you is not mocked, and those who love him, he will avenge any misuse of a heart that is pure.

Re: Throwing everyone out! Jesus was demonstrating love, and discipline. He knew that the things they were doing were not in the purpose of worship or edification to the glory of a place of God. They were tossed out, because they were disobedient!! Not because he didn't love them. The cause was to have order in the reverence to the Lord. Unruly children, can cause parents and themselves to be ashamed. "My house is a house of prayer" what they had brought in were unclean things and disorder, can anyone truly pray in a disorderly place of noise, and the presence of sinful acts? Yes, they pray that these things are removed at once and take action to cut off the offensive!!!

And..."Why box Christians on ideals of how to show love...especially non-Christians?

You're heard, it, read it many times God is Love. If they have not believed and known God, the ideals of love are not in them. They are far from God and the love they idolize is that of the flesh, not of the Spirit of God. They have an earthly heart and mind, and therefore they have an earthly love which boxes a Christian as having love with mercy and forgiveness as foolish. They'd rather have hate to contend with knowing within themselves; God commandment is to love and they disobey God by trying to change love to be suited in their own idea what love should be like on those who love Christ.

I think, it's the two cents (two mites of the widow) was what pleased Jesus more that the big offerings shown by others. The two cents was worth more because her ideology was from a pure love from a pure heart. This is the heart of true believers.

I will say these words are from my heart. As I speak and do SHOW LOVE to you. :)

..."they have not believed and known God, the ideals of love are not in them. They are far from God and the love they idolize is that of the flesh, not of the Spirit of God.I think you are right."...

I agree. I think nonChristians' concept of love isn't God's concept so it's not right for them to attempt to dictate how Christians should love or behave for that matter.
