Tabitha Gentry is a woman convicted of theft and burglary for taking and squatting a possession of a East Memphis home for five days in 2013. Gentry received a sentencing to 20 years in prison on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 which her court appointed attorney felt was a bit extensive for just squatting in a vacant mansion. The defense attory, Clalborne Ferguson stated in "Twenty years seems to be a bit excessive for five days of squatting in a (bank owned) house." The irony also is that Gentry is also serving a 14 year sentence for assaulting two police officers with her car during a traffic stop in 2012. Gentry who identifies her citizenship of the Moorish American National Republic is thereby not bound by U.S. law. Often, Gentry is known for her outspoken behavior, and shouting. The argument of the case centered upon her filing a document "transfer of inhertance" notice with the County Register's Office, but the document lost it's power and was considered nonsensical. She was arrested for stealing the property, and locking the gate to keep out the owner's real estate agent. Gentry gets twenty more years for squatting and stealing property.
Gentry's lawyer felt the additional sentence was flight snap! The lawyer also said that even a defendant convicted of 2nd degree murder can't be sentence to more than 25 years.

A BEALE STREET FAREWELL...
Flight snapped over with hundreds of people meeting down at Beale Street's Handy' Park to pay their respects to the late passing of Blues great B.B. King. Bands marched, concerts played and many civic and cultural leaders came to be among the special memorial honoring B.B. King. Among the memorial parade was a special feature of King's guitar Lucille which was carried by his son Rodd Bland. Many tourists also graced the crowd and memorial speeches by the Mayor of Memphis A.C. Wharton accomodated the ceremony. B.B. King passed away on May 14, 2015 at his Las Vegas Home.

That's quite a flight snap for Dr. Tracy Hall as she will be leading the Southwest Tennessee Community College. Hall was the choice confirmed by the TBR on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Presently, Hall will be leaving her position as vice president for academic affairs at St. Louis, Mo Community College-Forest Park. Dr. Tracy is well on her way snapping flight to make the change of position. The 47 year old is looking for fulfilling her new assigned duties and with it comes a flighting salary of $193,432 a year. Her goals will include improving numbers of adults in Shelby County with post-high school degrees or certificates by more than 20%. Hall stated that "We have to start the conversation earlier about college." Dr. Hall will be starting her new positon on July 13, 2015.
