After making a stage appearence on the BillBoard Music Awards on May 17, 2015 singer/soloist Celine Dion has decided to go back on tour. Celine took one year away from touring to be close to her husband because of his illness. However, she has be encouraged by her spouse to return and get back to her appearences and shows. Celine said that her concerts will be dedicated to her beloved spouse. In a recent interview Dion spoke backstage at the Billboard Music Awards about resuming her series of shows beginning August 27. 2015 and the dedication to her will pay tribute to her husband Rene' Angelil who has been recovering from a cancerous tumor that was removed last year.
Dion says that she is ready for the 40 performances between August to January. During her absence for the stage Dion said she spent much of time to care for her husband and their three children. In addition, the singer said her throat muscles had time to heal. Dion told reporters backstage that she was excited about Vegas and looking forward to her kick-off performance on July 29, at The Coloseum in Las Vegas, but her fall tour to Asia has been cancelled.
