In a recent concert singer Bobby Brown, also father of Bobbi Kristina, daughter of the late Whitney Houston announced on stage in front of an audience on Saturday, April 18, 2015 that his daughter was awake.."My baby is awake, and she is watching me." said Brown to the auidence. However, no official word of her condition has been released-- and other family members claims any upgrade of her condition hasn't changed. Conflicts insight that Bobby Brown has stated such news before, but such rumors have not been proven. Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma since January 2015. There was also a rumor that the family was thinking of removing Bobbi Kristina from her life supports, but it has not been prompted by her family. Until, now, there is no assurance that Bobby Brown message holds true, but the entire family is hopeful it will be so.
I heard about this, but perhaps he's speaking figuratively and not literally. Of course, her spirit is awake. I'm praying for her and the family but the grandmother has said that there isn't a great deal of hope.

bobbi-k2Two days after Bobby Brown said his daughter’s condition had improved, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother Cissy Houston revealed on Monday that her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has “irreversible brain damage.”
The mother of the late Whitney Houston spoke out in a statement to PEOPLE after Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, 46, told a crowd at a concert in Dallas on Saturday that Bobbi was “awake” and “watching” him perform.
“I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital, and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma, she has a tracheotomy, and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive,” Houston said in a statement to PEOPLE on Monday.

A tracheotomy is a surgical procedure which consists of making an incision on the anterior aspect of the neck and opening a direct airway through an incision in the trachea (windpipe). The resulting stoma (hole), or tracheostomy, can serve independently as an airway or as a site for a tracheostomy tube to be inserted; this tube allows a person to breathe without the use of his or her nose or mouth.
She does not respond to visitors or familiar voices, and her eyes do not follow a person around the room, the source told CNN. She also has a tracheostomy in her throat, the source said.
“Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life,” attorney Christopher Brown said. “However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process, and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”
“Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me.
“We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers.”
