ISAIAH WASHINGTON CONTINUES TO SHUCK AND JIVE AND CLAIMS HE'S "NOT BLACK" (9700 hits)
So many black people lack pride and feel they have change who they are and how they go about everyday in order to make whites and others feel comfortable. Isaiah Washington clearly wrote on his Twitter page, "I'm not black I'm human." That statement in and of itself implies that blackness is not human, which aligns with white supremacist thought about black people. He's perpetuating that negativity surrounding blackness.
Isaiah Washington doesn't want to be labeled anything but a human being, but was quick to label TR Knight with a slur against his homos*xuality. Isaiah Washington is a human being, yet he's still Black to the Police Officers who will continue to pull him over and harass him regardless.
