I know I'm off topic Miisrael but I wanted to share some more of the ongoing saga. I had another disruption in my bird duties, this time the cat. My feeders are both near the house and he thinks it's fun to stake them out. He's not catching them, just keeping them from the feeders. Fortunately I've got a big enought property, I went out today and threw a bunch of seed around the edge of the woods. He can't be in two places at once right?

Cats will be cats! .. And cats and birds! LOL!
You can also try keeping the cat away from the areas where the feeders are for a number of hours each day. If you can time it right the birds can zone in for a feed. However, if the present situation is working keep it up. Cats have nine lives they say, but only one body. Thusly, your feedng duties go on uninterupted.
