Procter & Gamble Finance & Accounting offers you the opportunity to experience a breadth of assignments as well as the flexibility to meet your individual career objectives as we work together to build our businesses. Finance & Accounting is unique within Procter & Gamble since we work across every area of the business, both domestically and globally. Our role within P&G is to provide leadership to business decision making as well as manage the Company's financial and accounting affairs to maximize long-term profits, cash flow, and return on investment.
Our intern assignments are real Finance and/or Accounting work designed to allow you to experience, first-hand, the type of work we do within P&G. As an intern, you can make an impact on the business as well as continue to build your analytical, technical and leadership skills. Most projects offer the opportunity to work with individuals in a variety of capacities within the area you're assigned and, potentially in other functions. You'll have an individualized work plan that will guide you throughout the summer and you'll get coaching from your immediate manager throughout your internship.
Your assignment could be in one of our Global Business Units (examples: Household Care or Health Care), as well as our Selling & Market Organization, Global Business Services, and all Corporate Functions including, of course, the Tax Department.
At Procter & Gamble our Internship Program is viewed as our primary opportunity to hire the top talent across the U.S. that we hope will lead to full-time employees. Former interns receive an outstanding compensation and benefits package upon returning to Procter & Gamble.
A solid background in Finance and/or Accounting along with demonstrated leadership ability is required for those interested. Candidates are expected to have and maintain high academic standards with their education institutions.
At P&G, Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment, with a predicted ending point. No full-time employment commitments are made; however, depending on satisfactory completion of certain criteria, candidates may be considered for full-time positions upon graduation.
