DAY 4
JANUARY 2015
Shanghai

New Years has many families in Shanghai grieving in the aftermath where a crowd celebrating the New Year lost control trampling at least 32 people dead. A deadly stampede of people caused deaths and also injuries when it lost control during the fireworks. The massive turnout had little control from authorities and authorities were not fully prepared from preventing the incident. The New Year's watch was held on Shanghai's famed riverfront where skyscrapers flashed and sparkled. As hundreds scrambled in the stampede many told stories of how the crowd was totally wild and crazed with screams and chaos. Many who survived told how many people were left laying unconscious, dead, or wounded. Causes of the stampede is still undergoing investigations. Meanwhile, families are mourning and many are seeking answers to what happened to their love ones. According to news sources most of the fatalities were young women. Later, many families brought flowers, and lighted candled as they mourned over the deaths.
