The latest liftoff of Orion's left no ground due to some much needed troubleshooting. The test flight for Thursday, December 04, was delayed until Friday, December 05, 2014. During it's attempt there was some problems with the liquid oxygen's drain valves refusing to open. However, with clearing this condition of the ship, there may be another delay on the second try if the weather experts are correct, weather conditions may prevent the ship's take off. The prediction of rain and winds may cause the ship to be grounded. NASA experts spent at least 2.5 hours working out kinks and getting Orion's flight ready for departure. This is the anticipated space craft that will take the adventure to into deep space since 2011. Since this is a test flight no live crew will be aboard until 2021, but it is carrying a microchip with over one million names. In addition, Sesame Street is aboard with mementos to inspire students about space science.
