Some get left behind but today we graduate She stood in a room Ready for the next assignment Ready indeed She spent alot of years in regret and poverty Inside the room was many with invitations to follow them One had foolishness as his name Another had gossip One had fame Another had romance One had money as his title And yet she saw more and more of things to grab her attention They seemed to be fighting just to get her to listen But she looked carefully at the gentleman who carried the words Life She pondered on what that could possibly be all about As she read other signs she begin to see them all for what they were Illusion,Lies and Distractions that would take her too far. So that day she chose to walk with Life She chose that day to walk inward towards another direction She chose not the easiest road to go But she chose because in that choice her faith would grow She chose and eagerly accepted life's path She chose to step away from everything from the past She chose to redefine her mind She chose to not play Russian roulette anymore with her time She chose for the wholeness of her soul She chose so inside and out something meant since creation would grow Redefined steps and on a different life path from before She chose and entered into a greater and better door Good thing she chose right now graduation day was here And she wouldn't miss this day for anything in the world.
