I knew from my 20 years working as a television network publicist, that the public has wrong perceptions about actors.
What we see in the media becomes our mass collective consciousness. We think we know the celebrities we see simply because their pictures, their business and their entire lives are constantly in front of us on the Internet and television. However, behind the scenes, that public face is really a facade…an illusion.
This is not only true about famous people, it’s true about our co-workers; people we interact with at the bank, church, the stores, and whomever we don’t know personally…including the Internal Revenue Service.
Recently, Walter and I had the privilege of being the keynote speakers for the Women of Internal Revenue Service (IRS ) in Fresno, California.
