A group of protestors encirled in Detroit on September 23, 2014 to have the water company restore water to overdue residents with outstanding bills. The group rallied peacefully with speeches which aimed that shutting off water is against morals of human life. The struggling city of Detroit shut off water and power after so many residents were not paying their utililties. Today, the protestors were said that the company was or is being cruel not to at least restore water to those still in default of unpaid utility.
