"The World Largest Beer Festival"
Octoberfest is one the largest fun fair fests in the world. Places in Munich, Bavaria in Germany celebrate 16 days of this annual event. Six million people attend each year and many towns and cities have their own celebrations of the festive last of summer and beginning of fall festivals. History of the fest dats back to a wedding celebration back in 1810 of Munich's Crown Prince marriage to Princess Threse. All the people were invited to celebrate the wedding and then starting a celebration that has spread world wide. This festival is part of Germany's Royal History, and the holiday fest continues through today. Octoberfest 2014 started September 20, 2014. The festival's notarity is for it's Bavarian Beer-- and unique fanfare, rides and foods. Thousands come and go to take part in the festivities!
