"Atlantic City Showboat Casino Doors Marked Closed"

As the last hours of the Showboat employees and visitors left the building, the doors were shut and locked and signs were placed reading CLOSED. To many it was goodbye to their jobs, others it was a show of goodbyes to their memories and then to some it was a show of goodbyes forever. The Atlantic Casino closed it doors is one of the first closings of others that follow behind. The Showboat Casino served 27 years of history on the Atlantic famous Boardwalk. Many of its former employees expressed some grief, along with some fond memories. They are also being optimistic that soon other jobs will be hiring them after the goodbyes of the casino are done. Trying economic woes took it turn on the Showboat and the sinking of it has left many jobless, yet not hopeless. A Showboat of Goodbyes means its ship has finally came to an end on Sunday, August 31, 2014
