Law officials in China announced an observance to the memorial of martyrs. According to recent news the day is to used in recognition of those who gave their lives for national independence and prosperity. The movement promotes those with achievements and spirits cultivating patriotism and socialist moralities. This new approved holiday was prompted by following up September 03 as the day China declared Japan's Defeat the World in February 2014. The new holiday will be known as Martyrs Day and will be celebrated beginning September 30, 2014.
