Jennifer Hudson’s Half-Brother Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Man Multiple Times (456 hits)
Jennifer Hudson‘s family is back in the news once again. Steven Simpson, the half-brother of the Oscar-winning actress and singer was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly stabbed the boyfriend of his estranged wife. The 45-year-old reportedly stabbed the man multiple times in the face and body, reports The Daily Mail. Simpson is in custody in Paw Paw, Michigan where he will most likely be charged with attempted murder and home invasion. The victim received over 20 stitches and was released from the hospital. Hudson has not commented on the report. In 2008 Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were murdered by William Belfour, the estranged husband of her older sister Julia. Belfour was later convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to three-life sentences.
