If your wondering how to have a unique kind of fundraiser to save a failing symphony then you might be one to utilize the legalization of your state marijuana law by hosting a high society fund raiser party with lighting up your marijuana. That's how Denver's symphony raised $50,000 this past weekend of Memorial Day. The struggling opera wasn't meeting all its needs and required some profitable fund raising since its public had left the symphony with a lot less funds and attention. The party's organizer, Jane West planned and got the idea and began placing it in action. First she requested a public fundraiser however, though marijuana is a legal substance, it still cannot be smoked in public areas. Then she came up with an idea of having an elite set of guest who would be invited with a $100 dollar donation to attend a private performance. It met with approval! That's when the tickets and donors all got together for a "pot symphony" Guests were permitted to light up the joints and pipes as the opera played Mozart and Beethoven. This was the first of three events of its kind and making history it was the first event like this involving a symphony funding. They called the event "Classically Cannabis"
Looks like Mary Jane was all royally rolled up for a symphony!
WATCH OUT There may be more of this kind of fund raisers in legal states of marijuana huh? Things people do for money.
