Your National News Day 24 May 2014 Westchester, NY
Three baby raccoons were left on the door steps of a Westchester Department Health with bottles and blankets. The new born raccoons were well cared for according to departmental sources, but they are urging the person who made the delivery to come forward and be tested for rabies. Raccoons are a common carrier of the deadly rabies and if detected in humans rabies can become deadly. The three babes were handed over for observation by the health department wildlife experts and may later be released in the wild.
Some people love raccoons, but I just well....
I've been watching for a raccoon around my yard, haven't seen him lately.
