CONGRATS! Ciara & Future Welcome Their Baby Boy (447 hits)
Congrats are in order for one of our fave couples, Ciara and Future! Ciara gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles on May 19, Page Six reports. The songstress shared the first picture of her new bundle of joy on her Facebook page, with the update that his name is Future Zahir Wilburn.
Ciara and Future have been dating since early 2013. In October, Ciara announced her engagement to Future with a fifteen carat diamond ring, and revealed she was pregnant during an appearance on The View (January 14).
The singer initially want to keep the gender of her baby under wraps, telling reporters: “I want to keep that special,” but Future slipped in an interview and gave hints that he was expecting a mini-me by referring to the baby as “him.” And it looks like the little tot is already being trained up to follow his parent’s footsteps: “The baby is already listening to music now,” Future previously said in a radio interview. “[Ciara] sent me a video while I was over here with the headphones on her stomach. She said ‘The baby just listened to Turn On The Lights, the version with me and you!’ I said ‘He gott- You gotta play that Anytime for him, the new one you did. Let him hear that. See how he kick’. Aww! According to reports the baby is also set up to enjoy the finer things in life. Ciara reportedly racked up a $20,000 bill after deciding on a jungle theme for the baby’s room – spending $1,800 on an 8ft stuffed giraffe alone.’
